Supports programs that enhance the quality of science teachers entering the classroom and support teachers with professional-development opportunities that have a positive impact on student achievement, and also to programs that provide students and teachers with opportunities for authentic, inquiry-based learning experiences that significantly impact students' excitement about science and scientific careers and make the use of the latest educational technology. Unsolicited requests for local programs whose work strengthens science education in the central Ohio region are reviewed March and September.

Supports organizations that build skills, including STEM skills, across all age groups; preparing a ready workforce; and increasing employment opportunities for communities where Cleveland-Cliffs has operations.

Supports educational opportunities for youth, contributing school supplies, scholarship funds, and educational materials to students, financial literacy programs, and arts and cultural initiatives.

Supports hands-on job training and workforce pipelines in STEM, automation, manufacturing, and aerospace engineering.
